I disagree. They are not models or beauty pageant contestants. Athletes can be good looking , average looking or ugly looking , are drawn from all layers of society and their athletic abilities are not related to the way they look. For countries that have mostly a homogeneous population eg Slovakia, Norway, Greece they are representative. Now if we were talking about the French team, it would be a different story.

Norway is a bad example. This country is almost as immersed with immigrants from the Third World as Sweden. The only countries in Europe where there are still indigenous peoples not mixed with "brown" people are Central European countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

Nope. By showing demonstrators or students, you can manipulate your photos by choosing those that are convenient for the poster. In this case I presented the first squad of Slovakia in the match against Malta on 26.03.2017. There is no possibility of selecting photos (cherrypicking) because the selection of representatives of the country has already been made based on their value in the game. And the value of each player in the game has nothing to do with his appearance (phenotype). In addition, in this case you can accurately judge the pigmentation of the representatives of Slovakia, the color of eyes and hair, which can not be accurately measured with photographs of the crowd.

The pigmentation of these Slovaks is very similar to their western and northern neighbors - Czechs and Poles. But their southern neighbors - the Hungarians are clearly darker. Phenotypically, most Slovak players would fit easily in Bohemia.
