As in many countries, Colombian footballers are disproportionately Black and Mulatto because (a) they tend to be poorer, (b) they tend to be better athletes and (c) the footballers disproportionately come from the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Colombia, where Black and Mulatto people are highly concentrated.
