He actually doesn't look very French to me, but Eastern European. Hungary/Austria/Czech area. I think East German would be possible but he isn't very western looking.

You should try finding some blonde Lebanese. A lot of Lebanese Christians here love to claim ancestry from the Crusades... despite this existing more in the Muslims. Not sure how the Christians could have Norman ancestry but some of them here do claim it.

Ok I trust you for this :p Probably a minority showing off. When I saw his face first time I thought "oh, he might comes from here !" and then he said he comes from Sicily I thought in a minute "wow, I have to show him to Sikeliot" :lol: Now you see a Sicilian looking Norman :)

I was actually on board with that possibility until you said he is from Catania. :lol: The northeast part of Sicily (Messina, Catania, and the non-Lombard population of Enna) should not have much Norman ancestry and it is likely that 90%+ of their ancestry is native Sicilian. They are close to far isolated Aegean islanders genetically.. they are hardly northward shifted compared to people in Kalymnos for instance.

Some kind of Borreby. Interesting, compared to Abate he doesn't look distinct Italian but can fit very easily in nothern half of Europe IMO.
Pan-European but obviously more north. It would be hard to guess his ethnicity for me, could be everything!
