I have seen a handful of people from there. Roughly half of them I assumed to be Thai or southern Chinese, while roughly half I have taken to be Indian or Pakistani. However, upon close inspection of features, no one looks either fully East Asian or South Asian, but varying points on the spectrum between the two.

Nepal has around 20 main ethnic groups, and many other smaller ones. So, it's not a uniform country demographically. The politically dominant group and largest group at 40%, the Khas who are further divided into subgroups would score similar results as Bengalis, but with higher NE Asian/Siberian, and NE Euro/Steppe. The Newars of Kathmandu valley and the Tharus of Tharuhat in the Terai plains would be 50% South Asian/50% Tibetan like. The Madhesi populations who are themselves diverse would be same as the population of Bihar. The various himalayan tribes, as well as tribes located in the eastern and western hills like Limbu or Sherpa would be fully Tibetan-like.

Only countries in South Asia with homogeneous populations are Bangladesh where 98% are ethnic Bengali and Maldives where 100% are ethnic Dhivehi/Maldivians, and Bhutan.

Edit: From Harappa spreadsheet, the Nepali average (ethnic Khas) is

33% South Indian
30% Baloch
8% Caucasian
10% NE Euro
1% SE Asian
2% Siberian
7% NE Asian
1% Papuan
2% Beringian
1% American
2% Mediterranean
1% SW Asian

Aren't the Bengalis genetically very similar to the Sinhalese people? The Sinhalese are an Indo-Ayan people who are Buddhists that make up the majority of the population in Sri Lanka.

Yeah, Bengali and Assamese populations though are most similar to the people of the Gangetic basin, like Bihar and UP genetically and culturally. But, what separates them from the Hindi belt is NE asian/SE asian admixture.

Sinhalese on the other hand are at an autosomal level closest to their South Indian neighbours, but they do have an origin story of being descendants of Vijaya Sinha who came from a settlement in Bengal with his soldiers, and mixed with natives of the Lankan island to produce the Sinhalese race. Also, the Sinhalese epic leading to that story also says how the Sinhalese people are destined to be defenders of the Buddhist faith.

Whats the Mongoloid admixture percentage in eastern Indo-Aryan populations of Bangladesh and eastern India?

10% on average (Bengali and Assamese) but lower for Brahmin populations. Nepalis/Garwhalis/Kumaonis have similar averages too, but lower for Brahmin populations. The admixture in other groups is negligible.

Well Im a bit weird I have a lot of tungid/sibirid phenotype look my skin is pale as a russian/english person. People in Nepal think im a foreigner . However Im a limbu my genetics shows that I have a lot of vietnamese/south chinese. My genetics is similar to any normal mongoloid Nepali but we limbus have a lot of mongolian genetics I have about 30% mongolian in genetic test. I have actually have less mongolian genes than a lot of nepalu limbus and have a lot of vietnamese but my mom has a sibirid phenotype weirdly enough so I got my looks from her.

Thats true , I recently met a person I thought was Thai then she said she was Nepalese.

The Nepalese as I understand are made up of at least 3 to 4 different ethnicities.
