Someone wrongly assume that Italian are a uniform only strong Mediterranean looking people when in reality we are a natural gradient of those genes with north or central Europe genes

And more of that they assume it more for Sicilian only finding themselves in disbelief in seing a look with great north Europe admix.. That in reality it s common and standard

You think that this guy is an example of Northern admixture? I certainly disagree. Looks typically Southern European / Mediterranean to me, and nothing wrong with that.

No one here where I live but also where you live would call him Mediterranean; to be Mediterranean you need more darker pigmentation. Saying that if you mean his face looks south European to your eyes I might agree

Thick nose, brunet skin, long head. The only thing that separates the two is that OP guy has blue eyes. That's not enough. Both this guy and OP guy is med rayicssss!

Susinna has Atlanto med slight influences visible on the face structure/face expression but he s not Mediterranean

He tanned well thought; as he stayed 3 months in Honduras for our Reality show

Mediterannean is not pigmentation but skull shape.

When anthropologists investigate skeletons they dont came to a classification based on skin colour but based on the dimensions of the skull.

He looks western Cretan or Peloponnesian. He may be comparatively "northern" for a Sicilian but he looks SOUTHERN European through and through.

Northern ancestry exists in some places in Sicily (Lombard towns, coastal Trapani, etc) but all of Sicily is genetically one unit and closest to Aegean islanders and western Jews. The northern ancestry is small and insignificant, and some parts of the island (much of Agrigento, and NE Sicily) have almost no northern affinity at all.

He looks like a South European with light brown hair. Little genuinely Germanic or Slavic about him.

He a not strange at all for sicily.

Again if you mean of pigmentation you are wrong Since blond hair and light brown hair are very common in sicily

I know it very well Since there are many sicilians in my region

Who cares if he looks more northern or southern? This guy is handsome as fuck. I wish I could look like him, a giga doom chad slayer. Southern Italian men are the most good-looking ones of the world.

Ironically the Sicilians share more recent ancestry with Danes and Ukrainians, than they do with North Italians. Though the difference is minimal.

Still hilarious considering the stereotypes about them.
