Brazil's white population must be around 30%.

Brazilians go mainly by skintone when it comes to whiteness, so, you'll have mixed looking people being perceived and identifying as white, when they aren't, and also the opposite, some tanned caucasoid being perceived as morenos(as), it's irrelevant if they are or not aware of their origins.

People of partial or fully colonial ancestry usually aren't aware of their ancestry, but that's not exclusive to Brazil, and people here don't care, their daily lives problems are way more important than know what's their genetic composition.

Yes, Brazilian people are usually a mix of diferent ethnicities, yeah, we have a decent Lebanese stock, but no way as important (genetically speaking) as the Portuguese (colonial and post-colonial), Italians, African, etc.
