Mona Sahlin resigns

The Social democratic chairman Mona Sahlin will resign in March during an extra party congress.

Sahlin held a press conference after a meeting she had with the regional chairmen of the Social democratic party this afternoon. She said at the press conferance that the decision has grown and matured during some time and that she had intended to announce her resignation in December but that the recent debate forced her to do it earlier.

In September this year, the Social democrats did their worst election result since the introduction of democracy and now face the challenge to choose both political direction and strategy for the coming years. Sahlin said:

- The complexity of what lies ahead can not be underestimated. We have to focus on the political content. I will make sure we do that until the extra congress in March.

She also said she hope that now when everyone knows she will resign, the debate will be more focused on the political content.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Say hello to the trash heap of history when you get there.

Hell yeah. I think that the social-democratic parties in Europe are in desperate need of reform and clean-sweep purges. They should look towards their own history and come up with ideas that are good for the people coupled with some nationalism.

This would save the left from a well-deserved Götterdämmerung and could actually be a vital for our interests because we haven't got much good to expect from the cappies of the right either as they would sell their own mother - let alone the country.

But I am dreaming ... as history has it: let's just wait and see as to what scumbag will take over her place.

According to a readers' survey by the tabloid Aftonbladet, Thomas Bodström (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Bodstr%C3%B6m) would be the most popular leader for Sweden's sos-dem's.

However, the problem is that Bodsström has left politics and white-flighted to the US.

If two equally qualified persons apply for a job at a workplace with few immigrants, the one called Mohammed should get the job

Swedes are so boring, we should get inspiration from the East. Islam could liven Sweden up.

think that’s what makes many Swedes jealous of immigrant groups. You have a culture, an identity, a history, something that brings you together. And what do we have? We have Midsummer’s Eve and such silly things.
