Not trying to defend him and say Italians can easily pass as Indians (it's not true!) but I have seen Southern Euros who can pass and many times some of them are not necessarily Gypsy or something like that.

I have been there and didn't passed at all but I remember a Spanish friend who passed (he is not Gypsy). The MED race is also present in India and some Northern Indians who lack Veddoid/Australoid can pass as Mediterraneans.

Questi concorsi hanno un senso solo se le concorrenti sono davvero nettamente sopra la media. Invece non è più così da molto tempo. Molte non le noteresti per strada nemmeno se ti si inchiodassero davanti. Ho come l'impressione che questi concorsi nella maggioranza dei Paesi occidentali non se li fili più nessuno, solo i Paesi sottosviluppati continuano a dargli una certa importanza, non senza un certo senso di rivalsa, con miss europeggianti persino in Paesi dove il 99% della popolazione non lo è.

Italians don't look Indian and vice versa. Not sure why these comparisons are made. Indian woman are some of the most beautiful in the world and they don't have to look European. They are beautiful in their own right.

Sonia Gandhi is an Italian who married into the Gandhi family one of the biggest dynasties in India. She met Rajiv Gandhi when she was only 18 years old in Cambridge.

I also love Italian people and living in Australia I know both Indians and Italians. They both have unique histories and are both fascinating places in their own right. India is such an amazing country and has so many cultures and ethnicities you can't compare it to many places. Some of the most beautiful women I've seen have been Indian or Anglo-Indian. Not sure why people are trying to say Italians look Indian. Everyone knows Italians and Indians are easily distinguishable.

Apriciated.. noone here is claiming both look same but there are some individuals who look ambiguous like the girl in OP. even italians are saying she doest look italian. Where i have seen plenty of italians.. one of my best friend is italian decent. they are good looking people in their own way. N noone is seeking approval from anyone here. we are not middle easterners whom look upto europeans and consider them pinnacle of mankind..
