Btw, to me he has a very strange face. Kind of weird nose, prominent cheeckbones and very hooded eyes. Only in the last photo he looks more normal.

No, it isn't a ''Muslim'' last name.

In case you don't know, before 1930something, Ottomans / Turks didn't have surnames. They had to have and choose surnames via the Turkish surname law.
Greeks, Armenians,Jews, whatever lived , had, but they couldn't use something that would point out religion or ancestry.

Greeks (I suposse Armenians and Jews, I don't know), used it the same way they used it with Greek. Patronymic(michailidis,anastasiadis), from specific area (kogkalidis) , proffesion surnames (Sabanis, Kazantzidis, Pehlivanis), feautures/nickname (Aslanidis, Karakasidis),etc.

When I went to Greece last year, I saw many men who look like Giorgos Sabanis and Akis Petretzikis. If you look at their facial features closely, you will realise that they have a very specific cheek bone structure, eyes and forehead and they have generally light Brown to blond hair with either green or bluish eyes... I wonder whether these men could be almost pure Greek with slight mixture of other neighbouring countries?

Blonde hair are not uncommon at all amongst Greeks.
In fact, they're anything but rare.
They're quite common.
As for light brown, you get it, it's the most common hair colour.
