Pro-palestinian demonstrators in Paris. Senator Alima Boumediene is on trial after calling for a boycott of Israeli products.


French Senator Alima Boumediene is standing trial on racism charges after she called for a boycott of Israeli products in 2009. Boumediene says she was campaigning against the Israeli government, not against Jewish or Israeli individuals. However, some anti-racism groups in France do not agree.
