I found this thread while searching through your threads trying to see if you have a classification thread haha.

My hair is ash brown and not blonde. I personally consider myself Middle Eastern/Central Asian/South-Central Asian in person, not white. When I went to my old univeristy, I was considered "white" by majority of the people. I transferred somewhere new last semester, a uni which is highly diverse and has lots of muslims. People have no problem considering me a POC there :).

Most of my family members look West Asian. Some look European, and some look South asian too. I see myself as the same race all of them despite what they look like, and since some of them wouldn't pass as white, I don't consider myself it. Not only that, but looking at afghans, it is obvious that they are hella diverse looking, but we're not white at the end of the day.

Despite how I am perceived, I too have been a victim of racism and discrimination on a few occasions when people found out what my heritage was.

If you saw him in the streets without knowing anything about him, I'm not sure you'd consider him a "man of color"

Race is bullshit anyway. If he can pass as white, he might as well be white.

I didn't say he's European. I think the term white isn't scientific but mainly about looks.
