Two previously undiscovered Vivaldi sonatas found in Britain

Two previously undiscovered sonatas by 18th century Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi (http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Vivaldi) have been found in a London manuscript collection, said Friday the museum where the documents
came to light.
Along with the works by Vivaldi - best known for The Four Seasons set of violin concertos - works by Haendel, Corelli and Purcell were also discovered*.
The anthology was compiled between 1715 and 1725. A businessman, who has since died, previously owned the collection. London's Foundling Museum acquired the papers in 2008.
Experts speculate that Vivaldi wrote the two sonatas for amateur musicians. One of the pieces, a sonata in C-major, will be premiered Sunday in Liverpool.
