DNA Land height predictor.

After getting all of my grandparents results i've changed my mind about height predictor on dna.land, since while it's still being inaccurate, gives overall a more or less trustable prediction.

Both of my grandmothers get a bit higher results, while gradnfathers and me get a bit lower, may it be due to no sex-destinction in this tool?

Ok, we can assume thaht for every prediction we must add between 5 and 20 cm on average. It was never too high, always too low.
But what sense in prediction which is always lower than real height and difference is random (5-20).

Well height is not only genetic but also influenced by hormones and diet, so i don't think that we will ever have accurate height predictor.

The fact that it's too low for males and too high for females which makes me thing that this predictor does not take sexual dimorphism into account.

Maybe it is our height without enviromental boost from modern diet and living standards. Beforie secular trend started in Europe in the end of XIX century.

Very close to me. It predicted 1.62 but i'm 1.74

This is fucking sad. My predicted height is 179 cm but I am only 177 cm, but I never ate enough growing up and am super skinny. According to all the results here I should be 183 or more...

Reality, 185cm, so it was insanely far off.

Fwiw, it also said I'd be slightly nearsighted but I have 20/20 vision, with a tendency to be slightly farsighted which may get exacerbated in the future with age.

Same about the blue-grey eyes.. It said I have brown eye lol.
All the other calculator said OCA2-GG-likely to have Blue/Grey eyes.
I guess that their calculation Isn't that good, neither for height and eye color.
But it was actually right for me too when it said that I'm nearsighted.
