She looks like a type of Greek appearance I have seen among those from Thessaly and Peloponnese. Nordo-Pontid.

Not to mention that her surname is 100% Greek, like many south Italian surnames, and vice versa

She may has some recent Greek roots

Surname Politi and its variants in Italy can have more than one derivation. One is likely the Greek one, in south Italy especially but not necessarily a recent derivation and recent Greek roots. The other one is likely a derivation from Latin word politus ("well-mannered, civilized", see the English word polite). Of course also the roots of the Greek word polis ("city, the state, community, citizen") can be from a similar source.

She definitely has lots of Aryan: that's the main component in her facial and body type. Probably a mix of Aryan-Med and CM. Passes best as Italian (which she actually is), but also as Greek.

I know, likely because the Latin and Greek words share the same IE root (from Proto-Indo-European *pelh₂- “to drive, strike, thrust”, from the notion of fulling cloth)

Where in Sicily is she from?

My guess would be the Ragusa/Syracuse/Enna area (I have become able to differentiate much of the time) but I may be wrong.

This is like the original/real Greek music, predating the Ottoman influence and Arvanites. Kind of like Aegean islands music.

i would say predating 1204. if someone listens to Saltarello and compare it to a big part of Greek music, he can easily conclude where much of influence comes from..

Arvanites on contrary (like Arberesh in italy) influenced particular parts of the country, Ottomans mainly brought Persian influence but mostly in anatolia, not that much in proper Greece

I would say that the particular song has Byzantine influence, common mostly in north aegean and Anatolia

That style of Sicilian music has been forgotten. For some reason not every style has survived to the modern day, and I don't know why because it is very beautiful. That is why it is good to have people who have brought the styles back to life.

If that style didn't die out and was fully developed with modern instruments (as there it is clearly meant to sound ancient) it would have been something like this:

The music in the video is not related to the Greek tradition

Original folk Greek music, which has a big variety and is still common in most of Greece, is native, with later byzantine, medieval Italian, probably Persian influence too.

Exceptions are the music of ionian islands, with further renaissance north Italian influence, and thracian, which is associated with Bulgarian
