Whitney’s parents were/are both black. She also had distant English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry.
Whitney’s mother, Cissy, stated in an interview that she has Dutch and Native American ancestry. It is not clear if this ancestry has been verified/documented.

Afram type of the SSA.
Euro elements might be there (slight de-pigmentation...but I have my theories...and maybe a slight reduction of proghnatism) but its minor and imperceptible.
As far as a voice, there many that copied her making her virtuosism into routine but when I catch Huston on the radio sounds still fresh after 30 years

^Her husband, drugs, and bad decisions destroyed her career. Her last album was an effort to recover the glory days but it was too late. Poor Whitney, R.I.P.

"Poor" yes, she even almost broken

Bad choices ruined both her personal life and career. The rise and fall of a star. We missed her voice.
