She is half Maltese and half Sicilian, not that there is any real difference between the two since one descends directly from the other. Maltese might be slightly more North African but that's about it.

Anyway I don't think Britney Spears' grandmother looks uniquely Maltese nor Sicilian (She looks very British), but her own father could pass in the UK as a native himself. His surname is from Sicily though (Portelli) and is found along the southeastern coast from Ragusa to Gela.

I don't mean her personally, I mean that whatever difference exists between Malta and Sicily is just a small amount more North African in Maltese. Maltese are probably closest to the people on Pantelleria which at one point spoke another Siculo-Arabic dialect that developed independently from the one on Malta, but it may now be extinct.

Brit's grandmother and her sister in the OP dont look half Maltese but they are. But Britney's mother looks a bit southern euro it looks its her father's fault, let alone Maltese

Maltese are Sicilian, like 90%+. Their ancestors come from there. You can even find light British looking people sporadically in Sicily and Malta.
