But this is not available in France, this test.

Yeah, still waiting for the results of that transfer. Transfers don't work.

I'm tired of waiting so I've ordered a kit for 99 dollars (with delivery). It's better this way. You've only ever had your DNA tested really once by ftdna and your results on gedmatch may be different with the new results. DNA testing is still limited until they test our entire genome instead of only certain snps. So the more your DNA is analyzed by different companies the better idea you'll get of your over all genome. Have you gotten the kit yet?

I don't know. Most jews get South Italian on living DNA (which is usually pretty accurate) and definitely not Iberian so it's not a pattern for them to exaggerate Iberian ancestry. I saw other Sephardi Jews who uploaded raw file and didn't get high Iberian maybe I am more Iberian than others.
But IDK. Maybe it is somewhat accurate, maybe not. we (most my family) do look somewhat West/South Europeans- Iberians/Italians/French. tho phenotype means nothing.
Anyway another incentive to learn Spanish..

Funny enough I have a lot of Iberian matches, almost more than Jewish matches on Gedmatch (but in FTDNA something like 70% of matches are Latin Americans, 20% Jewish, 10% Portugal and Spain).
According to Myheritage most of my Spaniard matches are from Asturia, Cantabria and Galicia (some from Andalusia).

My British ancestry is over-represented in this test, I emailed them recently and apparently it is not uncommon for Germanic heritage to be confused with areas in SE England. I also have distant Italian heritage but it shouldn't be this high - maybe its being confused with my Balkan heritage (?).

Interesting, I get a similar reading with Chechen on complete view but it is considered "World (unassigned)" in standard and cautious views. Do you have any known heritage from Chechnya? This is the first reading in any ancestry test I have done.

Here are my results from earlier this year:

91381

All my European regions were overstated. My Levant was understated. Hopefully their upcoming ethnicity update will fix it.

Cool results. Did you upload DNA or send in a kit?
If you uploaded, how long did it take to get results?

I uploaded just now.

My British ancestry is over-represented in this test, I emailed them recently and apparently it is not uncommon for Germanic heritage to be confused with areas in SE England. I also have distant Italian heritage but it shouldn't be this high - maybe its being confused with my Balkan heritage (?).

In my opinion this livingdna test is optimized for people with British isles ancestry as it is their specialty. The regions outside Britain were an afterthought in order to make more money.
