This will sound odd coming from me but if she was Sicilian or Cretan, no one would hesitate to (correctly) recognize she can pass in the Levant. That she is Spanish should not change this. People also have no issue seeing North African influence in Spain, so some common Med root with the Levant should not be over the top.

Calm down. You're posting cherry picked results. We're not stupid, we know what the average mestizo mexican looks like, and they don't pass as Levantine. Some mestizos pass as Uzbek and Turkmen, but not as Levantine. Hariznos are not even nearly as caucasoid as Levantines are and to the trained eye, you can definitely see the Amerindian features.
