BTW: "Shamanka Ilona" is actually not 100% of Latvian ancestry.

This is why her results are a bit different than the other 6 people.

Dzikaras is a Lithuanian name, ironic that he is closer to Latvians than to his own country.

Eurogenes K36 is the best calculator ever for distinguishing populations.

I've never understood why anyone here at all is using something else.

I'm not sure if you are joking or serious, but I will say that I can indeed get some nice modeling with an old K36 spreadsheet I have. I do get very high distances, I suppose to some extent a consequence of a high K count. This calc may indeed have untapped potential.

Target: Mr.G_K36
Distance: 737.3259% / 7.37325926
43.8 Germany_West
38.6 Slovenian
10.6 Romania_NW
6.2 England
0.8 Romania_NE

Maybe the logic is that 36 elements takes a longer time to type out and proceed?

What do you think?

Because nobody has bothered to publish an updated free sheet.

It's probably the only calculator left worth doing it for though.
