He's Brazilian footballer (naturalized Croatian). Some my friends tought he was Gypsy when we watched games, and I didn't think he looks like one. What do you think ?

Only in skin color. Banel Nicolita looks very Roma and has different facial features than this guy.

He's probably mix of Portugese (surname Da Silva), African and amerindian. My first tought wouldn't be Gypsy about him but they are really diverse so maybe he could fit in.

Looks like the average mixed guy in Rio de Janeiro, at least look like most people I have seen there when I visited that shithole. I would say he is average there.

Don't look Gypsy. He doesn't have the Melanesian input that differentiate pure Gypsies so much, making them different even from more Caucasoid Indians.

He is from Rio de Janeiro:)
Some Gypsies from my city used to call themself ''Brazilians'' in the bus and often wear their jerseys. Seems they think there's some similarities with them and Brazilian Pardo people. ?
Most Gypsies don't look pure Indid. For example this guy is Hungarian Gypsy (he look ambigous but not Gypsy imo) and he resemble Neymar:

Most Gypsies don't look pure Indid.

And they couldn't. They were never 'Indid' since most pure 'Indid' types are basically Indian variations of the European phenotypes known as Nordic, Alpine, Mediterranean and Dinaric. What most people call Indid is basically the purest Caucasoid forms that can be found in India among the high castes.

Since Gypsies descend from low castes, they have substantially more Melanesid admix than the average high caste in India.

And, yes, since both Gypsies and ''Pardos'' (mixed race Brazilians like this Eduardo) are fruit of racial mix they can look alike sometimes. But most of the times they don't look similar.
