i know he said that..but many of us have some foreign ancestors. if we exclude all of them then the population of romania remains at 4-5 millions at max. if u write on google Ponta, all people i find are romanians.

I don't get that..... My grandmother has no non-Romanian ancestor or relative and she knows quite a few. Her mother was one of 12 siblings, but ironically both her and my mom were single kids.

in the south are the "purest" romanians. but in east, south east, west, north..the situation is way different.

I know some people from Mizil, Prahova county, where she was born, with stronger asian facial traits, high cheekbones, slanted eyes, dark blueish black hair... the whole nine yards. What are the odds that her parents/grandparents "immigrated" there from somewhere else? Might be "tatar" as mentioned before. Most people here are insecure about being mixed with gypsies or something non European but when it's something European, but still outside their ethnicity, then it's apparently more legit. xD

I don't see the difference between an Albanian getting some North Euro, Slavic, Turkish or Gypsy. It's all foreign influence.

I am not sure, I think he's atypical for Romanian, but I know he's from Romania and I thought his ethnic look resembled this woman's. The fact that she was posted by a romanian user might have influenced my clasification.
