I would like to know: does this "Awaiting Lab Results" indicate that they have recovered DNA (if possible) from my previous kit?

It says "07/05/2017 - 07/19/2017", is this the date of when I should receive my results (not the kit, but results)?https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1125x633q90/r/924/TwOhfR.png

yes key use your previous kit, no need to send a new one.

It is the date your results may be ready. generally it comes early;

What do you think of Y-DNA 111?

I think I have already asked your opinion, but I ask you again here.

Generally i would recommend you to do 37 first, and after look for a subclade.

With 111 markers you are likely to pin-point your final clade, or get very close to it without SNP testing, buy you will either need to use Nevgen.org or talk to a project admin, of your haplogroup.

Its important to remember that FTDNA will predict your haplogroup based on your 14 initial STRs, out of your 111, so the HG they will give you is nowhere near your final one, this is why its important to use that tool, or talk to an admin.

after your STRs come, its up to you SNP test.

You can be shure about that, i did it already, but in different order, y-dna first than FF.
