View Full Version : Does Felix Immanuel's "ISOGG Y-Tree AddOn" still work or is it outdated?

Hello,

I got my DNA test back from 23andme a few weeks ago and am trying to see what else I can do with my results. I saw this article by Kitty Cooper (http://blog.kittycooper.com/2014/04/a-web-site-with-tools-for-y-and-other-dna-analysis/) and attempted to follow the steps that she laid out. The Google Chrome add-on that she refers to doesn't seem to work for me. When she pastes the Y-SNP data in the Chrome extension and saves it, an option to "select kits" is displayed on the top-left side of the screen when she loads the ISOGG 2014 Y-DNA Haplogroup Tree website. This option is not present on my screen when I access the same website. Is this because the add-on is from 2014 and is outdated or am I just doing something wrong?

Is there a more recent program that achieves the same result?

Thank you.
