I'm curious, because he is one of very few northerners that would be ''atypical'' in southern Croatia.

I think they would look the most similar to central Europeans than to Southern Europeans.

Maybe, but I not sure. I think he could be ''west slavic'' looking, if such thing exists. His surname also ends in -ec rather than -ić, and -ec ending surnames are common only in Northwestern Croatia and Slovenia.


I think they would look the most similar to central Europeans than to Southern Europeans.
They are Central Europeans. Even southern Croats don't look southern European, and they aren't central Euros. His features are bit atypical for south, such eyes, soft face...idk, I'd be able to guess he is northerner in Dalmatia, and usually that's not the case, differences are not big.

Yeah, it's all due on the fact that Croats and other Southern Slavic peoples have high Slavic ancestry in their genepool which made them more northern genetically than the Albanians and the Greeks who cluster with other southern European groups like Italians and so on.

I think he's noric too. But there are Albanian, Ukrainian, German looking norics. In Dalmatia noric is very common, but he is Central European type of noric :)
