Where would more of these SE French councillors pass: Scotland or Sicily?

They are from Hyeres, near Toulon, Provence. I visited the town a few years ago and took a course there to improve my French. According to some people in this forum, even the Southern French look closer to Brits (and Germans) than to Sicilians... Anyway, I am only including those with French surnames:

Looking better I have no preference, and my Scottish quota rise...
I suspect that instead of a sunny landscape there was a rainy castle the Scottish influence would increase dramatically.

Yes, but more North European like than them.

they must be originally from North of the Loire and because of their higher IQ it was a piece of cake for them to become councillors.
