That might nevertheless be real.

For example 23andMe gives me
French & German 13.7%
Scandinavian 4.8%

I don't discount the possibility of such ancestry but based on my paper trail it should be less than 3.125%

Dna land/gene plaza are even more implausible giving me an average of 10%(rounded to whole figure) Med islander/ East med.

Ditto dna tribes-
Balto - North Slavic 17.3%
Finnish 8.3%
Lebanese Cypriot 6.4%
Iberian 4.3%

I don't discount the possibility of some such ancestry but not as much as the calculators suggest by a long chalk.

basically i see it like this: if you get scandinavian it means most of your compatriots will get some as well, and whatever amount you get in excess of the average is what comes from your recent scandinavian ancestry.
