I've always thought Oliver Kahn looked Polish. It makes sense considering the German national team rely heavy on foreign imports to compete and have a history of interaction with Poland.

I'll go with Faelid too, but with a gentle smattering of Brunn with a tantalising presence of something else that I can't quite put my finger on without getting out my internet calipers.

I'm sure it will come to me eventually.

Don't think so! He has very sharp features of his face, it's something that makes a bit "apish look"(?).(It's not becouse he is German ofcourse and it's not only my opinion).

That is nice! :) I am 3/4 Latvian and 1/4 German --- one of my grandfathers was a German soldier in Worldwar 2 who met a Latvian woman when he was with his army in Latvia and he came back after war and married her! A little bit like the Olli Kahn story. We moved to Germany some years back.

My grandmother is Balt-German from Riga, she moved, a child until then, with her family to Hamburg in 1948 due to Soviet pressure when they occupied Latvia.
