What is a consistent quirk of your DNA results?

For me it's scoring oceanian. On more commercial tests like 23andme and AncestryDNA it's generally 0.1%. But on gedmatch and DNA.land type tests it's generally around 1.5%. My dad has this quirk as well, but it doesn't seem to be a common Latino thing.

Probably this Balkan admixture. I got 8% Balkan (and 1% Italian) on DNA Land and 3.4% on MyHeritage.

I also got 5% Med and 1.4% Ambiguous on GenePlaza. Med mixed with Ambiguous sounds like Balkan.

Look what people from 23andMe told him:

"(...) You most likely had a fourth great-grandparent, fifth great-grandparent, sixth great-grandparent, or seventh great (or greater) grandparent who was 100% East African. This person was likely born between 1730 and 1820. (...)"

And he scores only 0,3% East African there.

For me, in Dna Land I get 21%Balkan ? this doesnt seem overly reflected in other calcs. My other components in dnaland are 40% west european, 34%North Slavic, 4.4 % Southwest Euro eg Iberain/Sardinian.

The small % Iberian shows up in some other places too eg My Heritage I get 3.3% Iberian.
I also get a very small % west middle eastern, in My Heritage =0.8% west ME, and in FTDNA it comes up as around 1% trace element.

I sometimes get some Native American, but IMO I don't think that it's real.
