Aren't they all indoeuropean anyway? Which mtdnas are considered ancient in Europe?

The title of that blog post mentions 16 haplotypes, but only 15 are listed. So I added these 15 to the poll. Will I be able to update the poll later (if I find out what is the 16th Balkan haplotype?).

More about this Balkan mtDNA:

http://mtdnaatlas.blogspot.com

(...) Combined they make up about 5% of total Balkan mtDNA and a whopping 10% of the mtDNA in Eastern Herzegovinian speakers (Bosnia, Serbia, Kosovar, Croatia). Most of these haplotypes have a representative in four or more Balkan populations. That confirms all of these haplotypes are widespread in the Balkans but pretty much never found anywhere else in the world and can therefore be called ‘Balkan haplotypes.’ (...)

Based on TA Census, Balkan users are the largest group on TA, there are >100 of them:

U is paleolithic European but not greek (only name origin is greek), you're mixing greek mythology with haplogroups here.

Mine is the U3 haplogroup which is found in some Thracian samples from antiquity.

Yh but that Thracian was U3b, you probably belong to a Levantine branch of U3 but IDK

Maybe this is the 16th haplotype that for some reason is missing on that list?

I don't know my subclade yet but most likely is the same subclade that is found in many middle eastern peoples.
