Kinda irrelevant, but I remember reading a study that claimed that Sardinians have common descent and genetic similarity with Paleo-Balkan populations? Have anyone heard of the study? Do you think it's accurate?

Why is it irrelevant?
I think ancient Egyptian culture is at least the same interesting as the Balkans at that time.
What existed in the Balkan back then.?

@Sikeliot
Possible a link between Minoans,Sardinians and Egyptians?
Did you ever thought about it that way?

I think Minoans may have been related to the Sicanians of Sicily/Malta but I am unsure about Sardinians being in that group. Egyptians clearly have affinity to both islands.

Because it's an approximate oracle and the "25"% does not mean anything at all, like your 4.00 (it's not 0.00) of distance, not very very very close. And that the ancient Egyptians were close to southern Europeans, genetically speaking, contrary to modern Egyptians.

The Greeks are closer to the ancient Egyptians than the Sardinians are, which is an isolated population.

On their oracles, the closest European populations were Ashkenazim, Sicilians from Palermo/Agrigento/Caltanissetta/Messina, and Cretans it looked like. Still, there *is* Sardinian-like ancestry present.

The Sea Peoples remained in Egypt for centuries, as enemies or as mercenaries like the ancient Shardan that were even hired as Pharaons' personal guards, and they were most likely related with ancient Minoans. Traces of their DNA in ancient mummies should not be a surprise.

Shekelesh = Sicilians
Shardan or Sherden = Sardinians
Tursha or Teresh = Tyrrenians / Etruscans
Peleset = Philistinians / Pelasgians
Akawasha = Achaeans

As Mens Sarda commented the Shardana were not only known for fighting the Egyptians and defeating them in many battles but also became body guards for many Paroahs so it could come from that.

Kummuhi were Kumuk Turks

Hatti's were Kabardian Kumuks and Kusha peoples.

Circassians who call themselves Adige also defeated Rameses and Adige region in Italy is a testament to Etruscan connection to Cuman Kumuk Turks.

You're likely reading too damn much into a calculator made for Europeans giving some hypothetical "Sardegna thank" admixture.
Ancient Egyptians were proven to be middle eastern/ north African clustering with Bedouins and that's that.

Yes and Mycenean Greeks,also
The Greek Warriors from Mycene helped the Egyptians driving out the Hyksos from Egypt a tribe of foreign invadors which came into Egypt and plundered the land.
The Mycaneans were paid with gold in reward by the Egyptians, which helped them building the classic Mycanean civilisation

This is totally absurd.

Shardan or Sherden are not a European population, unlike the Sardinian (purity).

And the Sardinian do not have "Shardan or Sherden" ancestors, you have no source to prove that.
