Here are the relevant pieces of information:
"In brief, judging from the similarity of the membership proportion distributions (Figure 4), ADMIXTURE demonstrates the connection of Ashkenazi, North African, and Sephardi Jews, with the most similar non-Jewish populations to Ashkenazi Jews being Mediterranean Europeans from Italy (Sicily, Abruzzo, Tuscany), Greece and Cyprus. When subtracting the k5 component, which perhaps originates in Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews from admixture with European hosts, the best matches for membership patterns of the Ashkenazi Jews shift to the Levant: Cypriots, Druze, Lebanese, and Samaritans."
"The spatial ancestry analysis confirms and sharpens the lack of evidence for the Khazar hypothesis observed in PCA, placing the Ashkenazi Jewish sample in close proximity to Italian Jews, North African Jews, Sephardi Jews, and Mediterranean non-Jewish populations such as Cypriots and Italians."
"In the higher-magnification visualization, Ashkenazi Jews form a linear cluster in the latitudinal dimension and are closest to Italian Jews, North African Jews, Sephardi Jews, Cypriots, and Sicilians. "
By the PCA plot, Sicily (ItS) and Cyprus plot together and the Ashkenazim are actually plotting right with other Jews JUST AS MIDDLE EASTERN as the Cypriots and Sicilians, and the Greeks up near Tuscans and Spaniards. So Ashkenazim clearly fall into a heavily Middle Eastern cluster despite what some think of their appearance.

Closest populations are clearly other Jews, Sicily, Abruzzo, and Greece:
