I forget who did it for me. Either Tolan/Tomenable/Mlukaz. On this PCA me and my father form our own cluster under Albanians.

I wonder what it is. Even Kelmendasi shifts off a bit and his mother is from Diber around my fathers isolated village. Perhaps preserved Neolithic signature?

I notice my fathers IT component in K36 is very near/similar to the Neolithic samples from Greece and Anatolia. We score it very high. Higher than normal. Even more than Italians.

i think people from the mountains have higher neolithic and less caucasus than the lowland. the same is true for greek regions as well.

true - I havent tested my village but I am 200% confident 60-70% of them would be neolithic - they are all farmers IRL afterall.

That makes sense. Mountains preserved Neolithic admixture due to the rough mountainous terrain. On k36 similarity the closest we get is 78 commonality with Albania and Greece. Those are our highest numbers too.
