BBC is the main culprit.. I have never seen anything good for in india in BBC. They will never talk about shortcomings of their own country but for india all they telecast is negative

The big one in Jaipur is also very good. Amber Fort. My favorite of the ones I visited in India.

Jaisalmer fort is also nice, since a good portion of the city is inside it.

i have visited both places man, no other building can match Taj. you will get dumbfounded with you see Taj. all you want to do is keep looking at taj till you leave.
