The rest is split between West Asia 23% and Middle East 23% with a 3% North African.

The one thing I noticed is that Cyprus is included in all Greek, Middle East and West Asia clusters of Myheritage.

Mendez et al. (2011) point to an ancient presence for T1a-M70 in Europe. The subclade probably arrived with the very first farmers. This is supported by the recent findings of Haak et al. who discovered several T1a1-CTS880 members in a 7000 years old settlement in Karsdorf, Germany.

have to share my brother score 30% balkan in dna land high as thanas
and he scored 24% italian in my heritage
i think there is overlapp between balkan dna land= italian my heritage
and south central/ euro in dna land = greece in my heritage
i know it is against logic but i saw this in other members results also
when i look at there dna land and my heritage

If the Myheritage graphic is anything to go by, you can clearly see how the Italian bubble takes parts of Greece, the balkans and even parts of Austria and south Germany.

"Med Islander" is also a very common component in Levantines. In some results, it shows up Levantine/Med Islander and Ashkenazi is a sub-group of it for instance. I would know, because I score them.

The difference between the original 23andme results is that "Italian" is no longer mentioned and is effectively replaced with Med. Islander and Balkan whereas 23andme's "Middle Eastern" becomes Central Indoeuropean with a 3% Arab/Egyptian.
