Westerners usually associate SSA with aframs and W and Central Africans. He is probably a SSA/East African/Arabian Sea type.

Yes. Being Arab is a habit of the tongue whomever speaks Arabic is an Arab. Therefore it is not a racial thing racially he is clearly black, so are most Sudanese Arabs.
