I'm guessing she's only culturally Sámi?

No, I believe both her parents are Sámi.

To be in the Sámi census you have to have either one parent or grandparent that is Sámi, not just anyone can become a Sámi if the want to.

It seems many samis today are like those "amerindians" from Alaska whose pictures Bloodeagle has posted somewhere, one would hardly believe they are... amerindians.

These sort of looks also existed in 19th century Sámi

They are just harder to find because of the Scandinavian anthropologists bias and the anti-Sámi policies of the times.

Quite a rough comparison but I suppose you could say that. The Saami are definitely far more "pure" though than almost any Indian tribe could hope to be.

Nordid / CM + Baltid. Kinda cute!

How have you assuredness they never looked like that?

I wonder if that's result of interbreeding with more gracile Teutons... or if the origins of CM Nordics and Lapps lie on a same North-eurasian CM continuum.

Nordid + Cromagnoid + slight Lappid influences probably. Definitely no typical Sami, that's for sure.

Also they were always mixed one has to say, so being Sami doesnt mean you have to be Lappid, yet alone of the Lappid core type, though most have at least such an influence and at least if knowing it, one can see it in her too, primarily in the facial features obviously - the cheekbones in particular.

Aryan element highly predominant with minor Cro-Magnid elements (visible in mouth, eyes and face breadth). She looks hyper Germanic.
