Member of the Parliament of Ukraine from the Radical Party Dmytro Lynko posted on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/dmytro.linko/posts/1571911342859031?pnref=story) that Petro Poroshenko had stripped ex-governor of the Odessa region Mikheil Saakashvili of his Ukrainian citizenship after the 'Normandy format' phone talks held on July 24.

President was content with his tamed watchdog Saakashvili. However when the dog started to growl at his master, he decided to get rid of him for good, but not in an instant. He did it only after securing consent from his own masters. Poroshenko dared to strip him of citizenship after the 'Normandy format' phone talks when Putin, Merkel and Macron demanded that he eliminate from the equation a destabilizing variable – i.e. Saakashvili, whom the Americans had always placed their stakes on. No one needs unpredictability. And these days the US presidential administration is way too unpredictable. That is the gist of the story.

In fact Mikheil Saakashvili was one of the most successful projects of the United States in Ukraine up until recently. Defiant banishing of the man may well be a response to the harsh statements of Donald Trump who accused Ukraine of interfering (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/889788202172780544) in the US election.

Mikheil Saakashvili has virtually confirmed the version by saying that Trump had the point when he tweeted about Ukraine's meddling in the US presidential election campaign.

'The Ukrainian people deserves all the credit from the world for this heroic resistance. On the other hand President Trump had the point. There are dirty games started by some Ukrainian oligarchic circles' – Mikheil Saakashvili said in an interview (https://www.facebook.com/SaakashviliMikheil/videos/1634202029943505/) to CNN.

It is rather premature to draw any conclusions as to how severe the crisis of US-Ukrainian relations will be after Donald Trump's statements; however we can say for sure that there is a major rift between them.

Well... interesting. I though this was a troll. Maybe it is some kind of spammer, but the info seems useful.
