Laconian Greek GEDmatch result: good proxy for pre-Slavic mainlanders?

There is obviously a shift toward Northeast Europe compared to Sicilians but not so much that I could not believe this to be a fairly non-Slavicized result.

What does the book say about Greek genetics in general?

Most southern Greeks, from Peloponnese to all the Islands, are more closely related their Ancient Greek ancestors. Northern Greece had a lot more contact and influences from Balkan peoples than the south did, and it’s evident based on genetic charts.

By the way even this specific result is way too north-shifted for the average Laconian results. Most results will have various South-Italian areas within the top 5.
