Here are videos from georgain school banquets 2017.
Videos are from village schools with no mixed population, they are good examples, how Georgians look.
So Iran, which is genetically very close, or Romania which is genetically far?

It's hard to say just because Iran is extremely diverse, but Iran is probably closer than Romania on average. The Georgians here really look intermediate though.

Pontid type is common in Romania and Georgia.
There is no phenotype which is very common between Georgia and Iran, is not it?

Not on the whole of Iran and Georgia, but with NW Iran and Georgia, there are both Taurid types, as well as Armenoid types (not very common in Georgia though). Some East Med/Pontid looking types do exist in NW Iran also I believe. If we are comparing all of Iran and Romania to Georgia, Georgia is closer to Romania, but I was thinking of just far northwest Iran when answering this question.

Romania for sure . however Iran is an a lot bigger country than Georgia and Romania and dont listen to some trolls on the internet who display a distorted image of iranians . I bet many of them havent even met any iranians . some of the people in the videos can definitely pass as iranians and there are many iranians who look kavkaz especially in the northern part such as mazandaranis , gilaks etc. . but in general Iranians often have their own distinct look imo especially Persians

and btw. Georgians are not "VERY" close to Iranians genetically . the reason why Iranians are not far from Georgians is because they have a lot of Caucasus component admix
