The Montenegrins, who are the tallest people in Europe, live on a barren limestone mountain upland, where they, for centuries, succeeded in maintainingnheir Christianity and their freedom while surrounded by the Turks. They, like the northern Albanians, preserve their old exogamous clan organization, and their clan loyalties and feuds. They are linguistically Serbs, but there can be no question that they are to a large extent Slavicized Albanians; the cultural continuity between the two peoples is striking, the only real differences being those of language and religion.

Montenegrins are not the tallest people in Europe Tallest people in Europe is Dinaric alps which is on average 1.85m for men some Montenegrins could be slavisized ghegs however the modern day population of Montenegro is mainly ethnic Serbs there might be a minority that were slavisized.

The descendants of Albanians is up to debate some think Illyrian some think other Even if you were Illyrian Montenegro was settled by Serbs and today the modern population are mainly ethnic Serbs/Slavs they might have some Illyrian blood due to mixing with the people that were there before but today most Montenegrins are ethnic Serbs by blood and culture
