Something like this. Let me know if you agree. Women have a Levant/Near East element but the men look more South European. I did not rank the Latin Americans on here, because they can look like anything, but most could pass as Latin American whites even if not necessarily fully Spaniard.

Eastern Slavic countries are the very bottom of the list.

Many look like Ashkenazim to me.

Malta, Israel, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Albania, Turkey, Georgia, Lebanon, Armenia, France, Syria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine.

I'm not sure if Cyprus really goes before Greece or North African countries before the British Isles, but otherwise a good list.

They indeed look more Cypriot than Greek. They lack anything Balkan and are very gracile. If you want it more summarized I'd say this:

Eastern Mediterranean islands > Southern Europe > Turkey/Levant > Caucasus > Rest of Balkans > North Africa and Northwest Europe equidistant > Non-Balkan Slavic countries.

Oh I can also add Western Jews along with Malta/Cyprus/Crete since many of their phenotypes are present in Ashkenazim, both due to Italic and Levant influences.

I agree with Sikeliot on this one to some extent. I do think that this set looks relatively similar to Ashkenazi Jews (some of the Sicilian sets do to me, some don't-I generally find the Enna and Caltanisetta sets to look most similar to Ashkenazim, rather than the Palermitan sets Sikeliot posts).

Overall, this set looks mostly pan Southern European to me. I do think some individuals are more exotic and look MENA-influenced, but my highest parts of the ranking will be European.

Here is my ordering; this is based on the totality of the group, so if one individual looks atypical for an area, that may not necessarily drop that region down in a ranking much. Anywhere from Turkey through Syria is somewhat interchangeable on the list, despite the different categories I put them in.

Pass easily:
Malta
Israel
Spain and Portugal
Greece

Pass as neither typical nor atypical:
Cyprus
Turkey
Albania

Pass as atypical:
France
Lebanon
Syria

Since I don't really think they pass below here, I'll rank generally at this point.
Rest of Balkans (manyof the men individually could pass as atypical, but as a set, they would not pass; women would likely not pass, with a couple of exceptions perhaps)
NW Europe
N. Africa
Non-Balkan Slavic countries

Best: Southern Europe.
Worse: Northern Europe.

Palermitans actually might show more Levantine influence than Ashkenazim, I generally find them to be on the exotic end. The inland parts of Sicily like Enna and Caltanissetta, as well as deep inland Palermo for that matter, have higher affinity to the Caucasus and I do think that shows somewhat in the phenotypes here also, i.e. there is something Turkish/Armenian in some of the inland people.

Do you overall find my list to be accurate in my earlier post?

I don't think that Ashkenazim show less Levantine influence than Palermitans per se, but I do think they may have more of a northern influence which counterbalances that. I could be wrong on this though. I always have felt based on your sets, that people from Enna look closer to Central/Northern Italians actually, at least a bit. Your list mostly makes sense, but I think Cyprus is ranked higher than it should be.

I think these people look closer to Cypriots than to northern Greeks, for sure. This is why I put Cyprus higher up. There is nothing remotely Balkan about these people, so I probably could have split up Greece in which case I'd have put the north as far down the list as Lebanon.

I agree and I put all of Balkans (unless you count Albania) as not passable for this set.

I actually think they fit better in Albania than in northern Greece. Albanians look less Slavicized of the two, honestly, and I do perceive northern Greeks as transitional to Bulgarian. I would put Bulgarian quite low on the list, after some of the MENA groups in fact.

You saw the thread with the Epirote photos today so surely you see what I mean. Though I'd also argue they look even darker than would Peloponnese.

I think there are clear phenotypical differences between them and Iberians.

I agree, all pass easily here.

As a group only because they are more dinarcised, individually all pass easily and can find many similar people.
