I would venture to say this PCA will be off for those with (mainly) European ancestry.
For me personally it's also not accurate, I get Romanian and Bulgarian before Spanish so..like I said before, the lower number of component makes it more sensitive to small deviations from your ethnic group

When doubling the distance, my dad would be next to the Maltese sample; seems a bit too far imo. But we're dealing with ancient components, perhaps that's what makes it so different. The oracle gives me almost 45% Cypriot and the rest English :p

exactly what I thought! this doubles the distance perfectly between both my parents and me. I don't know from where they got their samples, but this (AJ, Maltese, Sicilian and Italian_South) can't be good representatives of their given group.
