Its interesting that my mt-dna is more common among slavic/baltic/siberian populations as my maternal grandmother isnt even from slovakia, but is a white american whose maternal line I traced back to france(dont know where in france) but to a women whos last name was Dupre.

Living DNA is way better than 23andme. I am gonna do it for sure.

only problem is that the autosomal test is extremely biased towards the UK, and the results took over three months to get. Still, it was worth the wait and hopefully the results wil get updated.

I don't know how would that go for South Asian, but can't say anything before taking the test.

I don't know how would that go for South Asian, but can't say anything before taking the test.Probably would be better but still not very good as their sample populations outside of the British isles don't seem to be very good. I'm hoping they will grow though and really develope a good sample base.
