Even though she clearly can pass in all the Mediterranean, I would say her look is slightly more common in Italy and Greece. Leonor Andrade is a good example of a West-Med to me:

I think Pires is slightly more Eastern-shifted than the average female Iberian, but still not as much as the average Italian for obvious reasons. Italian singer Levante (which is a common face in Italy) is a better example of a East Med type, especially the eye-region.

The problem with the MENA classification is that all of skin Mediterranean's are always going to be compared to them it's inevitable most of the people doing the classifying have never even met an arab in real life

And remember that "West Med" is not a get out of jail free card from MENA... the Arabid type is its tropically adapted variant. :) :)

That woman is not exotic also, she's a standard (gracile) Mediterranean, she is pan-mediterranean in a way that those mediterranean types are present to a higher or lower degree in all Med basin but rather much more those kind of MENAS look european shifted than the other way around imo.

That they can pass is one thing since those europoid Mediterranean types exist also in that area, another thing is to say that they would be a standard phenotype for that region, wich is clearly not truth since they lack typicall middle-eastern features and are much more common in the north Mediterranean area (wich means southern Europe).
