How come I2a be shared at good amounts between Sardinians and south Slavs? In this map below, 'South Slavic' and 'Sardinian' are in the same category.

I2a is present all over Europe, it is divided into many different clades. The clade that Sardinians belong to is seperated from that of the south Slavs for thousands of years.

Then it shouldn't be grouped together imo. It's confusing.

If the authors of these maps included every subclade of every haplogroup, then it would be incredibly complex and incomprehensible. They are only meant to provide a general idea.

Okay, it makes sense.

The connection appears to be mostly from the fact that both Sardinians and South Slavs were the first southern Europeans.

I wonder how much Siberian you are. I guess 25-30%. By the way, there's a sale on FTDNA until the end of August. FamilyFinder costs just $69 (+$12 for shippng).

Just tell the post office worker that you're gonna send something else, for example cellulose samples or stuff like that. It works.

About 49.5 percent of Mari males belong to the Y-DNA haplogroup N1c, which is commonplace among Finnic and Uralic speakers of northeastern and eastern Europe including the Mordvins, Udmurts, and Komi. The Maris' second most common Y-DNA haplogroup is R1a, which is also common in other eastern European ethnic groups. Two Mari males tested through Family Tree DNA up to 2003 belong to the Y-DNA haplogroup R1a. 5% of Mari males belong to I1, 2% to R1b, 2% to G, 2% to T, 1% to I2*/I2a, and 1% to I2b.
