Seems to do a better job separating out N. European populations but worse for S. European compared with puntDNAL k15. It is also better for Europe overall in terms of model fit than PuntDNAL is.

Unfortunately, I had to restrict the population comparisons quite a bit as the S_Asian causes issues with getting the model to work well. I restricted populations to those that were MENA on my list and had a S_Asian score of greater than 2 to get the placements decent. The Dagestan population might be wrong as well (it's from a population from Dagestan I believe-I put it in by hand).

This is not the best solution in the world as you lots of moderate strength components (that tends to weaken the models), but this is what I came up with that takes as many components as possible and has a somewhat acceptable placement.

Thanks! The other plots done show that I am closer to Slovenes and Hungarians second like this one. On dedocad K7b I come out as Hungarian. Still interesting results the other results I got because history says that I am a mixture of German-Hungarian and Balkan - Hungarian. Hungarians are quite diverse, a result of having a larger territory back in history.

I think this calculator compresses most of central/west/southwest Slavs as well as perhaps Italians and SE Europeans

Hmmm, that is the second chart now, the other being k15 EUTEST v2, that places next to the north Dutch. Maybe, there is something to it then ? I'm 75% British isles, which is close to Dutch ,anyway, so maybe my ancestry from Alsace-Lorraine (Central European) pulls me more towards the Dutch ? Or is it that these calculators are just significantly flawed ?
