Russia's sixth generation MiG 41 fighter jet will be capable of space travel and could operate without a pilot

During an interview aired on Zvezda TV Ilya Tarasenko, CEO of Moscow aersopace firm MiG, claimed the new interceptor will have a host of new armaments and capabilities. The fighter will be the spiritual successor to its older sibling, the MiG 31 (pictured). But it could be a while before we see the aircraft in action, with experts predicting they won't be ready until at least 2035 (stock image)
