End all landing and docking rights for all Iranian aircraft and ships at key allied ports;
- End all visas for Iranians, including so called “scholarly,” student, sports, or other exchanges;
- Demand payment with a set deadline on outstanding U.S. federal-court judgments against Iran for terrorism, including 9/11;
- Announce U.S. support for the democratic Iranian opposition;
- Expedite delivery of bunker-buster bombs;
- Announce U.S. support for Kurdish national aspirations, including Kurds in Iran, Iraq, and Syria;
- Provide assistance to Balochis, Khuzestan Arabs, Kurds, and others — also to internal resistance among labour unions, students, and women’s groups;
- Actively organize opposition to Iranian political objectives in the U.N.

IV. Conclusion This effort should be the Administration’s highest diplomatic priority, commanding all necessary time, attention, and resources. We can no longer wait to eliminate the threat posed by Iran. The Administration’s justification of its decision will demonstrate to the world that we understand the threat to our civilization; we must act and encourage others to meet their responsibilities as well.

bolster the case for abrogation by providing new, declassified information on Iran’s unacceptable behaviour around the world.
produce a white paper stressing the many dangerous concessions made to reach this deal, such as allowing Iran to continue to enrich uranium; allowing Iran to operate a heavy-water reactor; and allowing Iran to operate and develop advanced centrifuges while the JCPOA is in effect. Utterly inadequate verification and enforcement mechanisms and Iran’s refusal to allow inspections of military sites also provide important reasons for the Administration’s decision.
highlight Iran’s unacceptable behavior, such as its role as the world’s central banker for international terrorism, including its directions and control over Hezbollah and its actions in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon.

There are four basic elements to the development and implementation of the campaign plan to decertify and abrogate the Iran nuclear deal:
1. Early, quiet consultations with key players such as the U.K., France, Germany, Israel, and Saudi Arabia, to tell them we are going to abrogate the deal based on outright violations and other unacceptable Iranian behavior, and seek their input.
2. Prepare the documented strategic case for withdrawal through a detailed white paper (including declassified intelligence as appropriate) explaining why the deal is harmful to U.S. national interests, how Iran has violated it, and why Iran’s behavior more broadly has only worsened since the deal was agreed.
3. A greatly expanded diplomatic campaign should immediately follow the announcement, especially in Europe and the Middle East, and we should ensure continued emphasis on the Iran threat as a top diplomatic and strategic priority.
4. Develop and execute Congressional and public diplomacy efforts to build domestic and foreign support.

This is noteworthy because it's very detailed and not an isolated piece.

There is just too much serious material on war with Iran for it to be dismissed outright as bullshit.

The Americans are not producing anywhere near as much serious policy-oriented work on any other country.

If it was just about chest-beating or even diplomatic pressure on Iran, why should they go to such lengths? They've laid out a complete blueprint for destabilization, war and regime change, and possible dismemberment of the country.

It's not definitive proof of American plans for war with Iran. But tell me what other country this sort of material is being written about. It's not happening for any country but Iran.

We've seen a supposedly massive escalation of tensions between the US and North Korea, but go have a look for policy-oriented material on how to deal with Pyongyang. You won't find the same level of detail as you can for Iran.

And yet, there are still people encouraging the mullahs to resist, when in fact it will only make things worse.

Looking at the various pro war policy material on Iran, any reasonable person would have to conclude that war is seen as a serious option by American policymakers, but to me, war is a foregone conclusion, although I hope I'm wrong.

I'm losing track of how much pro war policy material is actually out there, because it has only been drip-fed over the past decade or so, but despite the large quantity, it's still flying under the radar for most people for a simple reason - an extreme case of mixed messages in the media, and one which I suspect is deliberate. We're being fucked with to keep us off the scent.

Isn't it amazing? While the mainstream media is constantly telling us about how successful Iran has been in spreading its influence across Iraq, Syria etc., how strong its military is and how amazing its economy and society are, contrasted against American weakness and incompetence, we get the odd tidbit suggesting something else. Add those tidbits up and you have a comprehensive plan for destabilization, war, regime change and dismemberment. It's like solving a puzzle.

Huffington Post picked up on Bolton's latest thoughts.

Madness. Madness is the word that comes to mind at the mention of John Bolton. The late under secretary that helped mastermind the disastrous war in Iraq is once again in the news for releasing a plan on how to kill the Iran deal and instigate a civil war in Iran. It is important we not gloss over the gravity of what he is suggesting.

The memo encourages U.S. backed ethno-sectarian bloodshed, similar to that of Syria today. Specifically, it proposes the backing of Balochi and Kurdish insurgents.

...his plan is to start a sectarian civil war in Iran and then trapping every single civilian in the war zone.

Ultimately, Bolton is looking for excuses to wage war against Iran, and deliberately get thousands of civilians killed. When there is no presentable excuse, he formulates his own under the guise of “classified information.”

Hmmm... well, they're blaming this all on Bolton, calling it Bolton's plan etc. which is fair enough since he wrote the latest pro war piece, but in reality, this would not only be Bolton's plan. This plan surely has the backing of many and has been in the pipeline for a long time.

Islamo-Stalinism lives on in Iran as mystic sentenced to death

TEHRAN — The founder of a mystical, New Age version of Shiite Islam was sentenced to death by an Iranian court after losing an appeal, his lawyer said on Monday.

However, the religious mystic, Mohammad Ali Taheri, who was convicted on charges of founding a cult, is entitled to another appeal, the lawyer, Mahmoud Alizadeh Tabatabaei, said. An earlier death sentence for blasphemy against the 61-year old Mr. Taheri was overturned in 2014 by an appeals court.

In recent weeks, dozens of Mr. Taheri’s followers have been arrested across the country, especially around the central Iranian city of Isfahan.

But opponents of the spiritual leader say his conviction has nothing to do with proselytizing for a cult, saying he has had “illegitimate” sexual relations with women.

“He has committed sodomy,” said Hamidreza Taraghi, a hard-line political analyst. Sodomy, if testified to by at least four separate witnesses, also carries the death sentence in Iran. His followers deny the accusations.

But the mullahs are top blokes, right?

American lawmakers cosying up with PMOI/MEK

It is past time that a change of policy toward Iran is adopted, one that takes firm action against Iran’s evil endeavors and endorses the Iranian people’s aspiration for democratic regime change in their country.

A good step toward this shift in policy is the August 12 trip of a delegation of U.S. Senators led by our senior Senator, Roy Blunt, to Tirana, Albania, where they met with Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the main opposition group to the Iranian regime. Sen. Blunt was joined by senators John Cornyn, the Majority Whip and Thom Tillis, a member of the Armed Services Committee.

I'm a bit concerned about how this PMOI mob would act if it ever got into government. They aren't ayatollahs but they're no angels, either.
