In the southern part of Moscow lay the lands of the State Museum-Reserve Tsaritsyno.

The 18th century architecture ensemble was built (though not finished) following the order of Empress Catherine II in pseudo-Gothic style, after projects of the architects Vasily Bazhenov and Matvey Kazakov.

In 2007 the architectural ensemble was completely restored.
