I disagree about the Quran saying to kill all non-muslims. During muslim rulings through out the history, the non-muslims like jews and christians were allowed to live and practice their religion. Thats why many jews fled from christian europe where they were burned to death, persecuted, blamed for everything,etc, to muslim countries.

anyway that verse is taking out of its context, its obvious about war / fighting:

2:190 Fight in the way of God those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. God does not like transgressors.

Only very few were R1a. R1a is not even the most common haplogroup in Turkey.
